£9.00

Coconut-shell based activated carbons are predominantly microporous and are the least dusty, thus, they are very efficient when it comes to organic chemical adsorption. Compared to other types of activated carbon, like bamboo or oak, coconut-shell based activated carbon filters have the highest hardness and a higher surface area, which makes them ideal for air and water purification.

Benefits

  • teeth whitening
  • face mask
  • water purifier
  • food additive

How to Use

Activated charcoal will remove halogens, specifically chlorine and improve the appearance and taste of tap water. Put 50mg in your water bottle and leave it there , it will be active for 3 months.

It is also a natural , and very powerful tooth whitener. To use, grind enough charcoal to dip a moistened toothbrush in, and brush your teeth for about a minute. Rinse well and brush your teeth with your regular toothpaste. Repeat every morning and evening for 2 weeks. You can do this about 3 times a year, you dint want to do it too often as to not remove enamel.

Activated charcoal draws bacteria, toxins, dirt and oil from the skin. Combine with bentonite clay to use as a mask. Add gelatin and hot water to the mixture to use as a peel off mask

As a food additive , charcoal doesn't have any nutritional or detoxing benefits , as purported by some. Simply put , it makes the food black so it's a fun dinner party trick. However, add half a teaspoon of ground charcoal to a glass of water as a hangover cure, as its scientifically proven to draw out toxins from your system .
